Monument Flame of Peace

I am very happy to be part of such an important project.

The Flame of Peace are in 85 countries around the world and I am very happy that my sculpture is the first one that is fundamentally different from the others.

I am pleased that Archduchess and Archduke Habsburg-Lothringen (Vienna), as well as Prince Heinrich XIII Reuß were so inspired by my design that I was able to prevail over the competitors and implement it.

Furthermore, I would like to thank Archduchess Herta Margarete Habsburg-Lothringen for the Friendship Pin.

The 2m high Flame of Peace was created for the 100th anniversary. Birthday of Princess Woizlawa Feodora Heinrich l. Reuss.

It is located at the Prinzenhäuser/ Hofwiesenpark Gera.

Root bull

This sculpture embodies nature and its power in various forms. On the one hand, the pure, raw, untamed power that here split the 65cm thick oak by lightning, 8m long. On the other hand, the power of femininity, which can be as powerful as lightning in a completely different way. I have deliberately worked out few details in this sculpture, and paid attention to clear purist features so as not to distract the eye from the essentials.

Walnut woman

This woman was created from April 2018 to September 2021, with long periods of reflection shaping the creation. As time went on, I strayed a bit from my original design and got a little more involved with the growth of the wood. But I do not want to say anything about the meaning of this sculpture to leave as much space as possible for their thoughts. I deliberately chose a plain stand so as not to distract from the essentials.

This life-size sculpture shows the gratitude of a mother who can hardly grasp her happiness in life in joyful anticipation of her little family. This sculpture was created over a period of 3 years, in the meantime I took a lot of time to think about the next step.

I have deliberately not elaborated a face in order not to distract from the essential.
